Transparent Administration
Il legislative decree 14 March 2013, n. 33, as amended by Legislative Decree 97/2016, reorganizes the discipline on the obligations for public administrations of publicity, transparency and dissemination of information and dictates the rules for the presentation of data on institutional websites.
The institutional website www.giustizia.it exclusively guarantees compliance with the obligations relating to transparency provided for by Legislative Decree 14 March 2013, n.33. Transparency is understood as total accessibility of information concerning the organization and activity of public administrations, with the aim of promoting widespread forms of control over the pursuit of institutional functions and the use of public resources. Transparency, in compliance with the provisions on state, official and statistical secrecy and the protection of personal data, contributes to implementing the democratic principle and the constitutional principles of equality, impartiality, good functioning, responsibility, effectiveness and efficiency in the use of public resources, integrity and loyalty in the service of the nation. It is a condition for guaranteeing individual and collective freedoms, as well as civil, political and social rights, integrates the right to good administration and contributes to the creation of an open administration, at the service of the citizen. In particular, personal data published are "reusable only under the conditions set out in the legislation in force on the reuse of public data (EU Directive 2003/98/EC and Legislative Decree 36/2006 implementing the same), in terms compatible with the purposes for which they were collected and recorded, and in compliance with the legislation on the protection of personal data".
