Excavations carried out in 1997 brought to light, on Monte Grassorella, the remains of a farm dating back to 350/300 BC. In addition to the perimeter walls, a large millstone and a cistern were found. In addition, tombs from the Hellenistic period were brought to light, in which, in addition to the funerary objects, coins dating back to the mid-3rd century BC were found.
